Lucky Me

It was my birthday yesterday, and, as tradition dictates, I spent it making people do stuff with me.   There was also a lot of hugging and innumerable proclamations of love and eternal fealty, etc.  There was eating, and baking, and walks, and jumps into frigid January creeks, and dance parties, and tea, and massages and this cell phone case from Odessa, which I love:

And also tarot cards–lots of them. I was given two tarot decks as gifts, and three tarot readings.  I can’t believe it’s a coincidence.

So, here are some of the people I saw yesterday, photographed with the cards they randomly selected from the tarot deck my sweet Audrey sent me. I didn’t get everybody, but I got a lot of them.  They are pictured in order of appearance:
